Teesside International Airport

Teesside International Airport connects the Tees Valley to a raft of holiday destinations on the continent and beyond. Together with its Amsterdam Schiphol service, this unlocks more than 200 destinations worldwide for both business and leisure. The airport's burgeoning freight facility is ideally placed to reap the benefits of Freeport status.

Work is also under way to develop a world-class 270-acre business park with unique airside access. The development includes opportunities for high-quality offices, warehousing and logistics facilities, all set within a fast-growing airport community.

An on-site rail freight link brings Britain’s major trade regions closer together, with passenger access to the East Coast Main Line just six miles away at Darlington. This combines with direct access to the A1(M), A19 and A66 to make all corners of the UK within easy reach.

Tax
Zones

Tax zones offer incentives to businesses such as no stamp duty, full business rates relief for up to ten years and enhanced allowances for construction and machinery investment.

Customs
Zones

Businesses within customs zones will receive a range of tariff benefits, including duty deferral while the goods remain on-site and suspended import VAT on goods entering the customs zone.
